About The Maricopa County Attorney's Office Diversion Strategies Group

The Maricopa County Attorney's Office Diversion Strategies Group supports alternatives to prosecution for a range of felony and misdemeanor offenses. Prosecution-led diversion is where justice and positive outcomes can be achieved outside of the traditional prosecutorial model. Through diversion, offenders participate in education and treatment programs offered by community-based behavioral health organizations.
