Position Summary:

The HR Intern will provide support to the Human Resources team in a variety of key areas, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR administration. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to meaningful projects that enhance organizational efficiency and employee satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about learning the fundamentals of Human Resources while contributing to a positive workplace culture. This position is designed to provide valuable exposure to HR practices and help develop the skills necessary for a successful career in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding:

• Assist in posting job openings on various platforms and screening resumes.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate communication with candidates.
• Support the onboarding process, including preparing orientation materials and ensuring new hire documentation is complete.

Employee Engagement & Development:

• Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, training sessions, and workshops.
• Contribute ideas to enhance employee satisfaction and workplace culture.

HR Administration:

• Maintain and update employee records in HR systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Support payroll, benefits administration, and compliance documentation.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing HR policies and procedures.

Performance Management:

• Help coordinate performance review schedules and maintain related documentation.
• Assist in collecting and analyzing feedback from employees and managers.

Research & Projects:

• Conduct research on HR best practices and contribute ideas for process improvement.

This is not a remote position.

Must Have:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic understanding of labor laws and HR principles.
• Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Good to have:

• Knowledge of HR software and tools is a plus.

Salary Range: This position pays $20/hr
