Advantage Resourcing is seeking a skilled Accounting Clerk for our partner company's team in Monroe, LA. This is a full-time opportunity and get your career headed in the right direction. Keep reading to learn more.

Qualifications:



  • 2 years of bookkeeping experience
  • Accounts payable/receivable and payroll experience
  • SAGE experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication skills



Salary ($40,000 - $50,000) | Shift (8 AM - 5 PM) Monday - Friday

Accounting Clerk Roles and Responsibilities



  • Record and reconcile financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Process invoices, issue payments, and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Oversee payroll processing, tax deductions, and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate financial records.
  • Monitor and report on inventory costs, production expenses, and variances.
  • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.
  • Maintain organized records.
  • Collaborate with the management team to analyze financial data.
