Clinical Pharmacist

NaphCare Pharmacy is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our dynamic team. We are dedicated to providing excellent pharmaceutical care and ensuring optimal health outcomes for our patients. Key Responsibilities

* Conduct and manage formulary reviews, including prior authorization evaluations and appeals management.

* Provide comprehensive drug information and communicate effectively with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.

* Analyze and review drug utilization trends to ensure cost-effective and clinically appropriate medication use.

* Collaborate with other pharmacists and team members to enhance formulary management processes.

* Stay up-to-date on current clinical guidelines, drug trends, and regulatory requirements impacting formulary and medication management.

Qualifications

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
• Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in Alabama
• Experience in formulary management, including prior authorization reviews and appeals management (preferred).
• Strong ability to communicate complex drug information to healthcare providers in a clear and concise manner.
• Prior work experience with a Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) or Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) is highly preferred.
• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.* Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with a focus on collaboration and innovation
