Food Careers

The IT Intern will support the organization's technology initiatives by assisting with various IT projects and day-to-day operations. This role offers a hands-on learning experience, allowing the intern to gain practical knowledge in areas such as system support, software development, network management, cybersecurity, and IT project management. Working closely with the IT team, the intern will help troubleshoot technical issues, maintain hardware and software systems, and contribute to the implementation of new technologies and solutions. The ideal candidate is a motivated and detail-oriented senior or rising senior pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, eager to apply their academic knowledge in a professional environment.

Interns will:



  • Complete a rotation through the IT department to learn about what each area does
  • Tour company facilities to learn about our operations
  • Attend professional development sessions
  • Collaborate with fellow interns to complete a significant end-to end technology project
  • Consult with their assigned mentor and various subject matter experts to find answers to issues that arise
  • Present their project to senior IT management at the conclusion of the program


Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:



  • Currently enrolled in an accredited College or University and seeking a degree in a related field
  • A 3.0 Minimum GPA
  • Able to interact with different levels of management
  • Effective Communication: both orally and in writing


Program Highlights:



  • Duration: 11 weeks
  • Start Date: May 19, 2025
  • End Date: August 1, 2025
  • Location: 601 East 7th Street, Fort Worth, TX. Interns are responsible for arranging their own housing and transportation by May 1, 2025.


Who We're Looking For:

We're seeking highly motivated seniors, and rising seniors pursuing degrees in fields such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or other related disciplines. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required. This paid internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the IT field, contribute to impactful projects, and build a strong foundation for future career opportunities within the technology and business sectors.
