Job Summary

The Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of a project, including but not limited to, planning, design, budgeting, and implementation. The project manager will work collaboratively with university stakeholders to ensure the projects are completed within the determined timeline and scope. The project manager must be able to provide clear communications regarding the project scope, budget, and schedule to project stakeholders.

Essential Functions



  • Liaises between project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, cost, and meeting plans are communicated.
  • Utilizes appropriate tools to plan project timelines, tasks, milestones, and deadlines.
  • Communicates schedule and changes to all stakeholders.
  • Plans and facilitates project meetings to align the project team to methods and goals and to track project tasks.
  • Prepares agendas, meeting notes, and project summaries.
  • Monitors task completion status to identify at risk project tasks and to develop mitigation plans.
  • Allocates resources, budgets, and hours to the project and adjusts allocations when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications



  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience managing projects
  • Very detail oriented, extremely organize
  • Possess excellent oral, written, and analytical skill
  • Strong leadership and project management skill
  • Can work independently and has demonstrated complex problem solving ability and strategic thinking

Additional Information
This position is classified as Exempt, grade L. Compensation for this grade ranges from $ 62,630.00 to $ 93,950.00 per year. Please note that the offered rate for this position typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade, but it can vary based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
