Overview

The Private Banking Assistant provides administrative support to the Private Bankers and their clients. Ensures that all who contact CrossFirst Bank via phone or in person are received in a professional, warm and friendly manner.


Responsibilities

  • Consistently maintain a high level of communication with Private Bankers.
  • Meet and greet all visitors, clients and prospects in a highly professional and pleasant manner.
  • Build long term relationships with our clients, employees, shareholders and strategic partners by providing extraordinary service, while utilizing sensitivity regarding client concerns.
  • Provide support regarding all client issues, problem resolution and client communication.
  • Open personal checking, savings, CDs and IRA accounts; open business checking accounts.
  • Contact clients to request required financial information and coordinate information with Credit Analysts.
  • Assist Private Bankers in loan renewal process; obtain credit history information on potential borrowers.
  • Correspond with applicant(s), employees, and outside vendors to obtain all necessary documents to underwrite, process, and close new loans and renewals, and to obtain expiring or lapsed documents, to include title policy, UCC searches, appraisal reports, environmental reports, etc.
  • Work with title companies to obtain title policy commitments and settlement statements.
  • Ensure that proper documents and disbursements are prepared accurately for Private Bankers to complete loan closings.
  • Review files after closing to ensure all required documents are signed and delivered in accordance with Bank policy.
  • Prepare and complete legal file for storage and scanning.
  • Obtain pay-off information as necessary.
  • Assist with draw processing, loan exception monitoring, past dues and resolution of exceptions.
  • Identify, initiate, organize and accomplish tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prioritize work flow, work independently with minimal supervision and work with others to achieve organizational goals.
  • Prepare management reports as needed, such as sales pipeline report, watch list and other reports as assigned.
  • Interact with internal and external clients while providing extraordinary service.
  • Develop and maintain trusted, positive relationships with employees, clients, and vendors.
  • Represent the Bank and Private Banking team in a highly professional manner.
  • Complete job assignments in a professional, timely and efficient manner; organize and prioritize work.
  • Maintain confidentiality; adhere to CrossFirst Bank policies and procedures; comply with laws, regulations and industry best practices.
  • Reliable and predictable on-site attendance.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in a similar role within a professional services environment, preferably in a commercial bank.
  • Knowledge of residential mortgage products.
  • Proven organizational skills and demonstrated success in a multi-task environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with office automation equipment, including phones, fax machines, computers and related software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
