We are Systems, LLCa leading manufacturer and designer of loading dock equipment. Wecontinue to GROW and are seeking a motivated team player to join our organization.

This is a role within Systems' Manufacturing and Production group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Oversee production line activity within assigned department including safety and quality; communicate issues to supervisor, and (ii) Maintain a clean and safe work place in accordance with 5S protocol. Requires 1+ years of experience within Systems' manufacturing environment, demonstrated proficiency within department, and a minimum of a High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee production line activity within welding department including safety and quality; communicate issues to supervisor
  • Maintain a clean and safe work place in accordance with 5S protocol
  • Communicate with supervisor, line workers, and other personnel to identify and eliminate road blocks
  • Update production tracker boards
  • Help ensure performance indicators, KPIs, and quality standards are met by performing required duties for assigned department and communicating potential issues to supervisor
  • Train new employees and coach existing employees
  • Report all incidents (spills, accidents, poor performance, maintenance/equipment issues, etc.) to supervisor
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
  • Protect Chamberlain Group's and Systems' reputation by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience within Systems' manufacturing environment and demonstrated proficiency within department Ability to read tape measure and blueprints
  • Ability to read and interpret documents including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Ability to interpret instructions
  • Ability to work within ERP system
  • Strong product knowledge for assigned department
  • Intimate operating knowledge of all available processing equipment and processes for assigned department
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience including MIG and robotic welding
  • Prior experience with solid core wires and argon/oxygen welding gasses years of relevant work experience including MIG and robotic welding

The payrange/rate of pay for this position is $20.58-$33.96; base payoffered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
