ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY Atmosphere's Hospitality Team is seeking a talented and motivated interior designer to expand their design service offerings. Our Hospitality Team collaborates with A&D firms and developers to create stunning and award-winning hotel, multi-family, and resort guest experiences. The Hospitality Team has a nationwide presence, but is based in Minneapolis, MN. Qualified candidates must be able to work 4 days in-person at Atmosphere's corporate headquarters in Minneapolis. ESSENTIAL DUTIES PROJECT MANAGEMENT - 20%
- Assist team with project delivery from project intake through product delivery and installation.
- Project specification checks: Coordinate flow of information between team members and clients while ensuring accuracy.
- Assist with project bidding: Well versed in cost reduction / value engineering strategies.
- Update all appropriate systems with project information, verify information entered is complete and error free.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE & RELATIONSHIPS - 50%
- Develop a deep knowledge of the many manufactures Atmosphere represents. Able to use this knowledge to add value to projects throughout the design and bidding process.
- Actively research alternative solutions that maintain design aesthetics while adhering to budget requirements.
- Maintain positive relationships with manufacturers' representatives. Use these relationships to leverage creative and cost-effective product solutions.
- Coordinate vendor meetings for product updates.
- Attend appropriate industry events, as approved, to enhance relationships and deepen product knowledge. Examples of industry events include NeoCon & HD Expo.
- Expand the product knowledge and skillset of the larger Atmosphere design team by reporting back with product knowledge and project processes.
CREATIVE - 30%
- Develop creative solutions based on input from A&D firms or developers. Tailor depth of creative solutions to project and client requirements.
- Provide limited full-service design solutions as required.
- Present solutions virtually or in-person.

Requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 4-year Interior Design or Interior Architecture degree or balance of Associate Interior Design Degree and applicable experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in project management and project delivery environments.
- 3+ years of dealer designer experience.
- Expertise with the following tools: CET Designer Software, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite
