What you'll do

As the Strategy & Operations Business Partner your charter is to help drive overall business growth with special focus on GTM Insights. To do this, you will use existing data frameworks to find opportunities. In this role, you are responsible for the development, management, and improvement of both new and existing business processes to support the broader GTM Strategy and Operations function. This role will own and drive strategic improvement initiatives with cross-functional teams such as Sales, IT, Sales Enablement, Revenue Operations, Product, and Compensation.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Director, GTM Strategy & Operations.

Responsibility

  • Suggest and drive innovative process improvements working with key partners across operational and support teams

  • Provide leadership with project status updates, feedback, and appropriate reporting on key projects

  • Facilitate decision-making and alignment on proposed process initiatives and solutions

  • Deliver projects or work that enable the assigned function to achieve its strategic goals and objectives

  • Influence without authority at varying organizational levels in and outside assigned function

  • Challenge collaborators and partners when needed, without compromising relationships, timing, and deliverables

  • Participate as GTM Process representation within various Annual Operational Planning processes and projects to provide process expertise, produce process-related deliverables, and drive successful launches

  • Understand the GTM process architecture of key systems such as Salesforce and evaluate process impacts for Users based on technical build

  • Recommend clear business requirements for developers as they design technical solutions to address operational inefficiencies and handle communications to all impacted partners

  • Identify, catalog, and surface risks with mitigation plans within projects, and own defining and implementing next steps to resolution

  • Build content and decks for division and executive pipeline councils, focusing on pipeline key performance indicators, trends, and key insights

  • Monitor and report on pipeline metrics to ensure alignment with business goals

  • Partner with leadership to deliver data-driven insights in executive-level presentations and dashboards

  • Partner with sales, partner and marketing operations, and leadership to define key performance indicators, improve performance and track outcomes

  • Build and refine operational models to support annual planning and target setting for different teams

  • Work with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales Development, Product, Sales and Finance, to align on strategies and achieve shared objectives


Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • BS/BA degree
  • 12+ years work experience in Sales, Operations, Strategy, FPA, Management Consulting, or similar field with a strong exposure to Business Process improvement
  • Experience owning and driving initiatives from design through execution in a self-motivated and proactive manner

Preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handling ambiguity with confidence
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience advising business leaders on the intersection of analytics, planning and operations w/business objectives and goals, including what is required at a strategic and operational level to achieve business and financial objectives and targets
  • Experience influencing short- and long-range direction of the assigned function and contribute to the same cross-functionally
  • Highly skilled at partner engagement, influence and management
  • Knows how to look beyond the obvious team member group and identify and align other collaborators who influence or may influence the direction and outcomes of assigned work
  • Conceive and deliver new and novel ways of achieving business results, enhancing organizational and team performance, results and productivity
  • Understand how our business works, and the unique roles, responsibilities and information needs of teams supported

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $151,800.00 - $245,150.00base salary

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
