JOB SUMMARY



  • Perform and support the manufacturing within the Refining Division.
  • Loads, unloads, and moves materials for distribution or further processing to refine precious metals.
  • Set up, monitor, and prepare materials for processing, refinement, finished product production, and shipment.
  • Will work in a variety of metallurgical refining processes such as electroplating, hydrometallurgical, and finished production work.
  • Working knowledge of refining or plating processes a plus.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and chemical handling abilities a must.
  • Ability to use manual and powered material handling equipment.
  • Set up of anodes in cells and preparation of electrolytes.
  • Set up and monitoring of various refinery manufacturing and recovery processes. Initiation and monitoring of chemical reactions.
  • Operation of chemical distribution equipment, Cl2 & SO2 evaporators, pumps, level controls, etc. Completion of refinery paperwork, including verification and documentation of weights.


Education:

H.S. Diploma or equivalent is required.
