Pay: $23-$33 per hour Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Evening & Weekend availability required) The Commercial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on commercial properties. This includes light electrical work such as emergency lights and exit signs, maintaining and repairing plumbing systems, and repairing both interior and exterior finishes, including painting and tile repairs. The role involves operating scissor or boom lifts, replacing light bulbs, and hanging banners, as well as submitting accurate paperwork. Additionally, the technician will maintain cleanliness in the facilities, handle trash removal, minor landscaping, and perform other assigned duties. They must ensure all tasks are completed in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Qualifications: GED or equivalent; technical trade school preferred. 2-5 years of mechanical experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry). Valid driver's license. Ability to read and interpret safety rules and instructions. Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills. Ability to work overtime on short notice. Scissor or Boom lift experience/certification preferred. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Must lift up to 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally. Exposure to mechanical parts, electrical risks, and environmental conditions (wet, high places, chemicals, extreme temperatures). Protective equipment may be required due to varying noise levels.
