Post Doctoral Researcher

Job Summary

The Department of Physics at Drexel University invites applications for one Postdoctoral fellow position in Neutrino Astrophysics.
The successful candidate will work with Dr. Kurahashi Neilson on the P-ONE experiment, a next-generation neutrino telescope planned for initial deployment in 2025. The postdoc is expected to spend substantial time at Michigan State University and/or Duke University for collaboration on hardware design and testing, online filtering development, and performance optimization.
The anticipated start is March 2025. The appointment will be for one year with options for yearly renewal for up to three years based on performance and funding availability.

Essential Functions

• Conduct independent research.
• Write and publish manuscripts in top-tier pier-reviewed journals.
• Present at conferences and workshops.
• Interact with collaborating groups, in particular experimental groups.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of PhD or Doctorate in PhD in Physics.
• Minimum of 0-2 years of experience.

Additional Information

This position is classified as a Full time Exempt with a grade of K [$54,630.00- $ 81,940.00]. The offered pay is dependent upon internal equity and the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience.
