Deputy Program Manager As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen AND an active Top Secret or DoE Q clearance. The Deputy Program Manager will assist the Program Manager in the monitoring and control of various facets of program management, including timelines, budgeting, technical performance, personnel, duty assignments, and risk mitigation. Interfaces with customers, various business units and functions to manage program milestones and major events. Serves as direct interface between program customers as needed to support the contract program manager and project. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Deputy Program Manager: $110,000 to $150,000 Pay commensurate with experience. Deputy Program Manager Responsibilities Include: * Responsible for overall contractor performance & financials on the Task Order.
- Organizes, directs, and manages Task Order operations involving multiple, complex and inter-related project tasks.
- Manages Team Managers of Task Order support personnel at multiple locations.
- Maintains and manages the customer interface at the senior levels of the client organization.
- Meets with operational customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items.
- Ensures conformance with program task schedules and costs.
- Utilize expert communication skills needed to direct the skilled technical resources and report on the technical progress, issues, and problem areas, as well as write and review technical documents.
- Responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverable quality and timeliness.
- Guide program and customer leadership and staff in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies.
- Assess viability of new products to meet the customer's high-level Cybersecurity capability gaps or customer priorities
- Collaborate with program leadership to ensure integration of solutions and compliance with governing policies.
- Provide oversight of the application of systems engineering and integration process rigor to ensure all deliverables and products are fully aligned with and meet the customer's cybersecurity requirements.
- Support and participate in the conceptualization and development of technology policy, methodologies, models, techniques and strategies.
- Communicate frequently and regularly with program leadership of associated programs, government managers, and senior executives.
- Closely coordinate and communicate with subcontractor program management personnel to ensure program success.
- Closely coordinate and communicate with corporate support functions as necessary to ensure program success.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Deputy Program Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline
- Master's degree preferred
- 10 years relevant experience leading teams/organizations of increasing size complexity, including at least 2 years of leading teams/organizations of up to 120+ people preferred.
- Current PMI PMP certification preferred.
- Current ISC2 CISSP certification or equivalent preferred.
- Experience working with SharePoint, preferred.
- Experience working with QuickBooks, desired not required.
- Working knowledge of international shipping regulations and experience working with freight forwarders, preferred.
- Ability to develop standard operating procedures (SOPs); knowledge of ISO requirements, preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts, FAR regulations, and briefings/spreadsheets containing operational/contractual data.
- Ability to determine the urgency and apply commonsense/understanding in successfully the assigned mission/function/instructions.
- Should be skilled in the common business software applications of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel as well as company specific software/programs for timekeeping, accounting, or quality.

- Working knowledge of government contracting regulations (preferably related to the Aerospace & Defense industries).
