Quality Engineeer
Location: Olive Branch, MS

The Quality Engineer will have the responsibility of developing and collecting data to drive theimprovement of Distribution processes in accordance with required company procedures. In addition, this position will need to analyze said data for the development, maintenance & execution of the quality management system. They will lead and or direct root cause investigation activities with a cross function team.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Analyze data using statistical techniques that support and measure performance.
  • Lead internal Auditing activities that maintain the effectiveness of the Quality Management system.
  • Quality Engineer will be Customer focus and Quality minded
  • Develop & revise Quality procedures, SOPs, work instructions & other quality documents.
  • Maintain database of data collections.
  • Develop inventory tracking & decision tree for disposition
  • Lead and attend meetings with upper management to provide updates as needed/requested
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, quality, inventory, etc.... to establish process control.
  • Occasionally serve as a technical resource to troubleshoot problems.
  • Create, monitor and closeout NCMR, SCAR, and 8D reports in Milwaukee's Quality Management System (QMS)

  • Follow and participate in all safety procedures / initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in field that supports Milwaukee needs & growth.
  • Ability to work under reduced supervision
  • Must be self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects
  • Must have good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word. PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Desired:
    • Knowledge of warehouse management systems
    • Knowledge of Oracle ERP Quality Management System
