Vaco is working with an industry leading specialty manufacturing company in the Wyomissing area that is in search of their next HR Director. Candidates must have experience with first, second, and third shift operations and union experience would be a plus but not required. Ideal candidates will have at least 4 years of full-cycle hands-on-HR experience, ideally with a company that has a three shift/24 hour 5.5 day operation.
We are looking for someone that can develop, implement, and monitor employee engagement programs that will lead to increased efficiencies, increased output, and lower turnover. We need someone who can interact will all department leaders and create a vision and plan for the HR function of the business. Someone who will develop and apply HR policies and procedures with a focus on legal and regulatory requirements. A job description development program will be a key project for this role and this person will lead all recruitment and talent acquisition initiatives for this location. Another big focus of this role will be on the benefits packages being offered and keeping up with the salary matrix for each department and for the company overall. Workers comp insurance and safety programs will be very important as well. This role will be in the office 4 days a week for the first 3 months then it would go to 3 or 4 days a week in the office depending on business needs. Base salary will be 110k to 125k plus a 10% bonus and 401k match. Excellent insurance, benefits, and other compensation also being offered.
