Multi-Asset Solutions (MAS) is a multi-asset class investing group that sits within the Asset Management Division at Goldman Sachs. It designs and develops comprehensive investment solutions customized to meet the investment objectives and relevant constraints of clients. These solutions bring together state-of-the-art techniques for multi-asset portfolio design and implementation and reflect proprietary research and analytics conducted by the MAS team. With investment professionals across the globe, MAS invests or advises on assets for some of the world's leading corporations, sovereign wealth funds, pension plans, governments, financial institutions, endowments, and foundations. MAS Operations team sits within Client Operations and has primary responsibility for all aspects of portfolio accounting, cash management, client reporting, and serves as the single point of contact for all operations related client inquiries for Multi-Asset Solutions clients. These functions cover a wide range of clients and a complex product range, which include equities, fixed income, currency and derivatives. The group supports portfolio managers, sales and client relationship professionals by providing accurate and timely client account information and overseeing all aspects of operational risk across portfolios. This involves extensive interaction with internal and external parties to ensure effective oversight for existing business and also to shape and implement solutions for new clients, products, strategies, and system architecture. The group continues to focus on best in-class client experience and working closely with the business to maintain and enhance client relationships. Duties and Responsibilities: The candidate will be responsible for being the team lead and is inclusive of a broad array of initiatives, including the following: Holistic ownership and understanding of client accounts from a GSAM Operations perspective by coordinating data sign-off and client issue resolution across all operations teams and business partners, and act as a single point of contact for GSAM Operations Liaise with client's appointed counterparties (custodian, prime broker etc.) to enable connectivity, establish operational flows and respond to service requests and inquiries. Ensure accounting data accuracy, and provide monthly sign-off in order to create a controlled environment for investment management process. Proactively review indicators of operational issues/concerns with the goal of resolving such issues before client impact Review account level metrics (i.e. reconciling items on cash/position reconciliations, daily corporate actions, NAV Reconciliations, failing trades, standard/non-standard reporting deliverables) as defined by operating standards and research, escalate, remediate exceptions as appropriate Providing effective leadership and oversight of NY MAS Operations PA team and serve as a team escalation point for NY MAS clients Other required skills/experience: Bachelor's degree required 6 to 10 years of professional experience, working within a Asset Management Project Management or Onboarding function preferred 1+ years of people management experience Strong project management skills including ability to organize and track multiple projects in parallel, delivery on tight timelines, and a hands-on approach to resolving issues Must be able to handle multiple, complex tasks, prioritize effectively and be flexible Excellent communication skills (including written, verbal, and presentation) Highly organized, with attention-to-detail and excellent follow-through Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment and demonstrate a high level of self-motivation Ability to manage concurrent assignments in an effective and efficient manner Salary Range The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $100000-$235000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
