Secret POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
The Inventory Specialist (IS) will initiate and conduct inventories for supply management, inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization in support of Alutiiq Information Management's (AIM) IMAP contract and Department of State Government Funded Equipment (DoS (GFE). The IS will perform (but not limited to) and/or support analysis and coordination of inventories to establish proper accountability, inspection of materials, acquisition, distribution, allocation, and correct deficiencies. The IS will partner with Logistics' functional areas for planning, implementation, and integration of government shipping requirements, including details of security and hazmat. The Inventory Specialist will integrate separate functions in planning or implementation in a logistics management program, as applicable.
