Job Description The Critical Facilities Engineer is part of the Facility Operations team responsible for performing preventative and ongoing maintenance for mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other infrastructuresystems in mission-critical, high-risk or high-reliability environments (data centers, medical facilities, laboratories or utilities infrastructure) to ensure operational efficiency and maximum facility uptime. Key Responsibilities * Acts as a consistent individual contributor and team member, providing influence, knowledge sharing, training, mentoring and direction to other staff engineers and peers * Identifies and assists with resolving potential issues and assists others to ensure data center uptime and project success * Assists with reviews of major design modifications/upgrades in accordance with applicable codes including compliance and safety * Assists with creating and reviewing all mission critical MOPs (Method of Procedures) and SOPs * Collaborate with partner data center at all times Education * High School Diploma or GED (Preferred) Experience * 2-5 years experience Supervisory Responsibilities * This job does not have supervisory duties. Certifications, Licenses, Registrations * Applicable electrical and mechanical certifications Functional Skills * Knowledge and design of critical functions: - Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Venting, Air Conditioning - CRACs (Computer Room Air Conditioning), UPS (Uninterruptible Power Systems), ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches) * Assist with change management process Information Technology, Infrastructure Library and Service Now Change Process * Knowledge of data center infrastructure or other mission critical, high-risk or high reliability environments. * Problem-solving skills * Awareness of safety and risk management Physical requirements Computer skills Location and Work hours * Position is located in Rochelle, IL on site * Work 8 consecutive days from Wednesday-Wednesday 3:00pm-1:30am * Off work for 6 consecutive days from Thursday - Tuesday LI - #EA1 Skills Facilities Operations, Maintenance Strategy, Product Safety, Product Safety Standards, Risk ManagementCompensation Compensation offered for this role is $24.71 - 41.47 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
