What You'll Do:

This position is responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of all LGE properties. The Facilities Operations Engineer will share our passion and seriousness about providing a first-class property management experience to our employees and our members. Coordinating maintenance tasks, conducting inspections, implementing repairs, and leading vendor / contractor relationships will all be crucial to the success of the Facilities Operations Engineer. This position also supports courier-related tasks, oversees vehicle maintenance, and maintains an inventory of supplies to ensure daily operational readiness. This position will report to the Facilities Manager while also collaborating with the Property Management Team to proactively create innovative processes and strategies for all things facilities. Addressing facility-related needs, while maintaining compliance and safety / service standards will be at the core of the Facilities Operations Engineer.

Essential Functions:

* Proactively partners with the property management team to design innovative processes, strategies, and procedures to give LGE's properties an industry leading feel
* Proactively improves technical skills, stays up to date with new technologies, and searches / completes relevant certifications to create the best property management experience for LGE Community Credit Union
* Building Maintenance: Performs a wide range of general maintenance tasks that do not require a licensed professional such painting, patching walls, replacing light bulbs, drain clogs, cleaning, pressure washing, and maintaining exterior grounds

  • Ensures building / grounds, parking lots, and driveways are maintained
  • Conducts and documents monthly inspections of assigned locations
  • Proactively identifies and resolves issues independently or by partnering with management to address janitorial services, landscaping, or any other need in a timely manner
  • Move, relocate / transport heavy furniture, equipment, fixtures, and supplies as needed

* Repair and Troubleshooting: Diagnoses, communicates and recommends repair solutions in regard to any building systems, appliances, wall damage, furnishings, or any other item that may disrupt working conditions or create a safety issue
Work Order Management / Documentation and Reporting: Responds to work orders and repair requests submitted through Limble CMMS, and ensures that all facilities issues are tracked and resolved promptly

  • Maintains detailed records of maintenance activities, repair details, photographs and parts used.
  • Presents property management metrics and tracking to relevant stakeholders

* Vendor Management: Coordinate with approved contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance tasks that are beyond in-house capabilities, ensuring all work complies with contracts, service agreements and safety standards
* Fleet Management: Manage and track company vehicle records including any maintenance or service repairs, tire rotations, emissions testing and registration; ensuring vehicles are consistently clean and well maintained
* Mail Room: Responsible for daily mail pick-up including parcels and certified items.

  • In the absence of fellow team members, assists with sorting along with other mail room functions as needed
  • Proactively finds mail process efficiencies and implements them within the credit union

* Courier Services: Responsible for delivering or retrieving supplies, mail, or packages from branch locations as needed or assigned by management
* Key Program: Responsible for maintaining accurate audited records for keys managed by the department in partnership with the Facilities Manager
* Ensures that facilities and purchasing functions are completed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
* Ability to prioritize and accomplish assigned tasks independently and within established timeframes.
* Provide after-hours response to critical facility-related situations at all company properties and assets.
* Provide an outstanding member and facility experience / environment utilizing respectful communication skills and a member first approach in a wide variety of settings including corporate offices and branches.
* Maintain an organized inventory of maintenance supplies.
* Support additional facility-related tasks and special projects as needed, demonstrating adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
* Performs other duties and tasks requested and assigned by management.
* Completes assigned maintenance functions in accordance with established policies and procedures and ADA and OSHA regulations.
* Maintain familiarity with and follow all policies, procedures and processes which have been established to meet compliance requirements of all applicable federal regulations. The regulations include but are not limited to the Privacy Act, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Reg. CC and Patriot Act.

Who you are:

* Required: High School Diploma
* Required: 5+ years of general maintenance, construction, or engineering experience
* Required: Valid Georgia Driver's License with safe driving record
* Required: Ability to travel 60% of the working time within the role
* Required: The ability to proactively troubleshoot maintenance / property management issues and implement solutions
* Required: Advanced experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), and Microsoft Office Suite
* Preferred: Relevant certifications within the mechanical, electrical, or plumbing fields
