THE JOB:

Are you ready to be a key player in ensuring safety and seamless operations? Join our team as a Fire Control Maintenance Dispatcher, where you'll use your exceptional communication and service skills to support both guests and our engineering team. As part of a professional, dynamic group, you'll help manage critical life safety and facility systems, while delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. THE STARTING RATE: $21 an hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Computerized Maintenance Management: Manage CMMS and life safety systems to prioritize and dispatch maintenance teams while completing assigned administrative tasks consistently.

  • Safety Awareness: Maintain constant vigilance regarding personal and property cleanliness, safety, and accident prevention.

  • Multitasking: Recognize the needs of a fast-paced environment, utilizing good judgment and the ability to multitask effectively.

  • Guest Request Management: Own requests and complaints, resolve issues promptly, follow up for satisfaction, and assist or direct incoming calls to the appropriate departments.

  • Positive Work Environment: Create a collaborative atmosphere by greeting and thanking coworkers, anticipating guest needs, responding promptly, and acknowledging all guests.

  • Guest Priority: Prioritize guest requests and dispatch maintenance teams accordingly to provide timely service.

  • Knowledge of Hotel Operations: Be well-versed in department goals, hotel information, and work independently to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Age: Must be 21 years of age or older.

  • Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

  • Experience: At least 1 year of prior relevant experience in the hospitality industry or a similar environment.

  • Availability: Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

  • Phone/Radio Experience: Experience with phone and radio communication systems.

  • Customer Service: Strong background in providing excellent customer service.

  • Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with MS Office (Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Amadeus, and life-saving systems is a plus.

  • Hospitality Experience: Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.

  • Administrative Skills: Administrative experience is a plus.
