Description
The Dining Hall Supervisor is responsible to oversee the overall operations of the main dining room area. The Dining Hall Supervisor will work closely with the Manager, Executive Chef, students and guests to ensure the dining experience is a success. This is a hands-on position and may require filling in for various functions in the Dining Hall and performing tasks along with the workers who are supervised. Essential Functions:

Must be able to read, write, and understand written and or verbal instructions in English Consistently project a warm, welcoming attitude toward students and guests Be out on the floor to be easily visible to answer any questions or concerns Ability to problem solve and work through day-by-day events Demonstrated ability to work in a team orientated environment At times this position can require long hours, late nights, weekends, holidays, standing & moving in a quick pace. Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds. Work environment is almost entirely indoors; temperature in the kitchen and dish room can be hot and steamy. |
