Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician I is an entry-level position designed to provide hands-on training and experience in maintaining and repairing equipment, machinery, and facilities. The role allows individuals to learn the skills necessary to become proficient maintenance technicians. 1. Assist senior maintenance technicians in performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and facilities. 2. Inspection and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. 3. Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks such as changing filters, lubricating machinery, basic inspection, replacing parts, and safety system functionality. 4. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repair logs and parts used 5. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime. 6. Support the set-up and operation of new equipment. 7. Maintain cleanliness and organization in maintenance areas throughout the facility. 8. Operates within and adheres to general plant rules and policies governing workplace performance and Environmental, Health & Safety policies and procedures 9. Participate in training sessions to develop skills and knowledge of maintenance procedures. 10. Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn will help you be successful in this role. 11. Must be able to sit/stand for an extended period Education Degree
Required Experience
