The Role

The Shipping Associate I prepares customer orders for shipment in an accurate and timely manner.

This role is located in Athens, Ohio.

The Responsibilities
  • Abide by departmental and relevant QSOPs.

  • Picks core products for orders as assigned.

  • Packages product and labels boxes with appropriate labels.

  • Identifies, pulls, and matches the correct protocol and passage sheets for products shipping in the main shipping.

  • Specifies box requirements based on order size.

  • Accurately labels boxes in the main shipping area.

  • Keeps the supervisor informed of any discrepancies.

  • Assists Receiving and Manufacturing departments when needed.

  • Keeps work area organized and clean.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • This position is not currently eligible for visa sponsorship.

The Individual

Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • 1 to 2 years shipping experience

  • Basic computer skills

  • Math, reading and comprehension skills

  • The ability to abide by departmental and relevant QSOPs

Internal Partners:

Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain.

The Work Environment

The work environment characteristics are representative of a manufacturing environment. Flexible work hours to meet project deadlines. Works on assignments that are routine in nature.

The Physical Demands:

The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. of equipment and boxes. Flexible work hours, including overtime, to meet work deadlines. Ability to stand and walk for extended period of time. Ability to bend and move without constraint.
