Sr. Manager, Program and Project Management

Your Role

The Pharmacy Services Strategy and Member Experience team is redefining how Blue Shield offers high quality, affordable, safe and convenient access to necessary prescription drugs. The Senior Manager, Pharmacy Services Member Experience will be responsible for monitoring and assessing the current member experience, using data to identify opportunities to improve or enhance the current experience, and designing and launching solutions. In this role, you'll partner with other operational leaders to ensure alignment and integration of the pharmacy member experience to other components of a member's healthcare experience. You'll lead initiatives aimed at improving the overall pharmacy experience that we deliver to members, which will have a wide-reaching impact and enhance the pharmacy care we offer today and in the future.

The individual in this role must be able to work within large, multi-disciplinary teams to design solutions, monitor data drivers and trends, manage complex projects to projected completion dates, and draw upon established relationships to build cross-functional teams that will achieve results. This is a new position that will report to the Director of Pharmacy Strategy and Member Experience.

Your Knowledge and Experience

• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Requires at least 10 years of prior relevant experience, including 4 years of management experience
• Requires prior experience in a role that evaluated, improved or enhanced customer or member experiences
• Previous healthcare experience not required, but a bonus
• Familiarity with design thinking and innovation strategies a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership
• Previous project & people management experience in multi-disciplinary setting required
• Agile experience is preferred

Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is: $136,400.00 to $204,600.00 for California.
