What success looks like in this role: * Directs assigned teams in one or more of the areas outlined below. Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) * Ensures effective development, review, maintenance and distribution of organizational policies. * Ensures development and execution of security related communication and training. * Manages and coordinates vulnerability assessment processes, including: o Discovery of system / asset related infrastructure and potential vulnerabilities, o Scan performance, o Risk prioritization, and o Remediation and validation. * Coordinates and maintains business continuity and disaster recovery plans and procedures. * Provides security guidance for new businesses and technical projects to ensure compliance with corporate security standards. Cybersecurity Engineering * Ensures the development and execution of security controls, defenses and counter measures to prevent attacks or attempts to infiltrate company/client systems. * Ensures security products are deployed in a seamless manner across varied environments and systems. * Ensures proper testing of Cybersecurity controls and analysis of test results. * Monitors test and incident data to identify trends, perform root cause analysis and ensure effective preventive measures going forward. Product Security * Oversees team activity associated with: o Threat modeling and the identification of potential product-related risks and vulnerabilities, o Conduct of technology security reviews, and o Maintenance of product security standards and operating procedures. * Ensures ongoing and thorough collection, analysis and reporting on product security metrics. Cybersecurity Analysis * Oversees cyber incident triage and remediation. * Leverages threat intelligence and performs research to determine and recommend appropriate investigative and defense controls. * Ensures cyber incidents are tracked and managed from initial detection to final resolution. You will be successful in this role if you have:
- BA/BS degree and 4-6 years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 0-2 years' leadership experience.
- Government background check or clearance may be required.
