The Opportunity

We are looking for a Principal Program Manager to define and implement large programs within the Global Data Center Operations (GDCO) and Infrastructure Engineering teams. Adobe's Infrastructure Engineering team operations Adobe's private cloud that supports some of Adobe's largest products and internal business solutions. This position will be accountable for coordinating initiatives requiring deep technical comprehension, while also using the ability to influence without authority. The ideal person will lead exec-level presentations, and ensuring programs complete successfully.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with internal partners and customers to align on objectives, achievements and timelines and successfully strategic objectives.

  • Create and track all aspects of a program, including: detailed plans and milestones, resource allocations, risks/issues remediation, status reporting, roadmap updates, and serve as the general "go to" person for details & state of things.

  • Engage with customers, partners, and internal collaborators, representing the strategy, roadmap, risks/issues, and opportunities.

  • Build material(s) that can be shared/consumed at various levels of the organization - from executive-level presentations, to finite-level materials to be consumed by project/program teams.

  • Maintain a deep, end-to-end understanding of the program, dependencies and impacts. Raise the awareness and handle changes needed to support the initiative.

  • Proactively identify risks in all assigned areas; work with teams and management to mitigate these risks and manage competing priorities before they become issues.

  • Effectively engage and influence people at all levels

What you need to succeed:

  • Be diligent in the pursuit of excellence

  • Ability to lead teams in different time zones, geo locations, product teams, etc.

  • Outstanding attention to detail; understands the what, why, when, how and who to drive better solutions.

  • Self-starter w/ 10+ years of project/program management experience on large scale initiatives

  • Experience in technical hardware/software environments and a proven track record to lead programs in those environments

  • Familiarity with ITIL, data center environments, operations and practices and tools is desired.

  • Be capable and comfortable addressing everyone from C-level to the Individual Contributor assigned to the project/program

  • Must have experience leading multiple large programs from inception through launch and operationalization

  • Be able to work well across organizations in a matrixed; globally-diverse workforce

  • Experience with Jira, or other workload (Backlog) management tools required.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and experience running IT or software programs required.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $143,200 -- $269,900 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
