Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work Onsite with our client in Liverpool, NY. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Lead a Hardware Engineering team of up to 6 engineers.
  • Provide the technical and programmatic leadership for hardware design and support teams.
  • Ensure adequate trade studies, architectures, technical analysis, common hardware solutions, quality of products, and proper engineering process and methodology are followed.
  • Work with First Line Managers to properly staff programs.
  • Will interact directly with various internal/external customers to work through technical issues, program planning, and field support.
  • Provide Earned Value updates as the program Cost Account Manager for all hardware engineering work packages.
  • Your day-to-day workload will consist of direct support of program execution and proposal support across the portfolio of products and proposals.
  • Lead small groups of teams for the technical execution on programs.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $28.19 - $72.00 /hr

Hours: 4/10-1st Shift

Length: Temp (11 months)

Job Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
  • Minimum 9 years of experience with Hardware development.
  • Minimum 9 years of experience with CREO.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD)

Preferred Skills:

  • Master's Degree in Business or Finance or Mathematics or Engineering.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and be able to work with minimal day to day supervision.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to comprehend and work successfully with complex systems.
  • Ability to work with program/functional management to meet objectives of entire program
  • Cross-Functional or Integrated Product team leadership experience.
  • Cost Account management experience.
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management and tracking practices.
  • Basis of Estimate (BOE) and proposal experience.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to lead/interact with a cross functional team.
