THE JOB: The Senior VIP Lounge Manager is responsible for providing strategic direction, financial performance, daily oversight, maintaining a culture of excellence, development of staff and ensuring guest services continues to align with the highest of guest service standards. The scope of this position varies slightly by location but generally includes Luxury Experience, VIP Lounge, Butler Services and high-end Suite products. All duties are performed in accordance to company policies and procedures.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Develop collaborative relationships and synergy with all support departments such as Casino Marketing, VIP Services, Convention Sales & Services, Facilities, Security, Housekeeping, Front Services, Recreation Services , Front Office, F&B and Executive Offices.
- Oversee implementation of policies, operating procedures, training programs, directives, work schedules, rules and regulations for VIP Lounge and Butler staff and personnel, in response to business demands.
- Foster a management team that possesses and delivers on key strategies of guest service, employee relations, team cooperation, financial responsibility and asset management. Ensures effective execution of all people programs that support employee engagement and accountability.
- Utilize guest service satisfaction performance metrics from Guest View, TripAdvisor, Yelp, AAA Five Diamond, Forbes Travel Guide Five Star, and internal inspections to generate action plans to address service deficiencies/goals in the area of process improvement, training and employee performance management.
- Develops and executes strategies that maintain a competitive advantage within the market and maximize revenue. Direct the business in the most efficient way, maximizing revenue in order to surpass budgeted objectives and contribute to short and long term profitability for the property.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in VIP Services, Front Desk and/or Concierge.
- 7+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in guest service and/or hotel operations.
- 2+ Years of Prior Relevant management experience in hotel operations.
- Experience in a Casino environment.
- Experience working in a large luxury resort.
- Previous experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement.
- Knowledge using Opera Systems or similar.
