THE JOB:

Grand Wok is seeking a passionate cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a cook, you'll apply your expertise in culinary techniques to craft exceptional dishes, utilize kitchen equipment safely, and maintain high sanitation standards. By understanding and catering to each guest's unique preferences and stories, you will ensure that every meal is memorable, crafting WOW moments that will linger long after their stay.

STARTING RATE: $26.0483 hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Prepare and cook menu items using a variety of culinary techniques while maintaining a strong knowledge of food products.

• Safely operate and maintain kitchen equipment.

• Maintain solid menu knowledge and attention to detail.

• Restock kitchen supplies and food items promptly to ensure smooth service in a fast-paced environment.

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet guest needs and provide an exceptional dining experience.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Work Schedule: Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Culinary Experience: Skilled in culinary techniques including knife skills with a solid background in food preparation and kitchen operations.

• Asian Cuisine: Prior expertise in Asian cuisine including wok cooking experience

• Strong Kitchen Knowledge: Proficient in using kitchen equipment, managing inventory, and maintaining sanitation standards.

• Multilingual: Ability to speak Chinese, Cantonese or Mandarin highly preferred

• Resort/Casino Experience: Familiarity with the dynamics of working in a resort or casino environment, adept at managing high-energy guest interactions.
