The Sr. Manager, Product Marketing will lead the product marketing strategy, storytelling, and content development for residential products. This individual will bring expertise in market research, analytics, and customer insights to shape messaging and campaigns. The ideal candidate excels at positioning, building narratives, and developing multi-channel content that drives brand awareness and customer acquisition. Collaborating closely with product management, sales, and creative teams, this leader will ensure alignment between customer needs, product value, and market trends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (in descending order of percentage of time required)

  • Own the end-to-end product marketing strategy for Residential products: garage door opener (GDOs), cameras, and smart home.

  • Develop value proposition and messaging frameworks that resonate with relevant customer segments

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, sales, and operations) to translate technical features into meaningful business outcomes for target audiences.

  • Build engaging brand narratives that position myQ as a thought leader in smart home

  • Leverage storytelling across digital channels to enhance brand perception and customer engagement.

  • Partner with market research to conduct competitive analysis and customer research to identify trends, opportunities, and emerging customer needs.

  • Utilize data and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and campaigns.

  • Monitor industry trends, customer behavior, and market dynamics to adjust positioning and drive innovation.

  • Lead cross-functional team focused on driving towards a successful launch.

  • Partner with demand generation to develop campaigns that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and sales pipeline growth.

  • Design and implement targeted multi-channel campaigns to launch new products.

  • Collaborate with internal creative, design, and brand teams to ensure content consistency across channels.

  • Act as a strategic partner to product management, ensuring a seamless connection between product roadmap, marketing, and customer experience.

  • Protect Chamberlain Group's reputation by keeping information confidential.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field

  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, integrated marketing, or demand generation (B2C experience preferred)

  • Proven success in brand storytelling and developing narratives that connect product capabilities with customer needs.

  • Strong understanding of marketing frameworks and experience leading multi-channel strategies (web, social, video, and print).

  • Ability to leverage data and analytics to optimize campaigns and measure impact

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time mainly in North America

Preferred

  • Master's of Business Administration preferred

  • Expertise in launching software products or solutions within dynamic markets

  • Experience creating product marketing strategies and messaging frameworks for consumer audiences

  • Exceptional collaboration skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

The payrange for this position is $123,600 - $199,275; base payoffered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
