Position Summary

The Clinical Director leads a team that provides direct services and interventions to homeless individuals in a residential setting. The Clinical Director provides overall supervision, management, and support to the facility leadership team focused on homeless service planning and the provision of direct services. The Clinical Director ensures that the program supports the individual goals of residents and that the housing first principals are implemented. The Clinical Director will stringently uphold the integrity of the RHD Values as outlined in the employee handbook and ensure that they inform all services provided within the facility.

In addition, the Clinical Director demonstrates regard for the dignity and respect of the consumers and staff, displays a caring and supportive attitude at all times, represents the program in a positive manner, and promotes and contributes positively to the program and program relationships. The Clinical Director maintains the confidentiality of its residents and employees and upholds the integrity of RHD Values as outlined in the employee handbook.

Essential Duties and Functions

* Provides supervision to leadership staff individually or in groups, ensuring quality of care and service delivery.

* Ensures that services meet the resident's needs. These may include vocational, educational, medical, dental, legal, behavioral health, financial, housing and/or recreation services. Emphasis will be on those services that enhance independent living.

* Evaluates the quality, effectiveness, and consumer satisfaction of those services.

* Organizes and facilitates team meetings for each facility. Ensures that the program supports goals for each resident.

* Participates in program development, continuous quality improvement activities, and the evaluation of staff.

* Responsible for program compliance regarding documentation, mandatory reporting laws, incident reporting and related compliance issues.

* Ensure physical plant layout is a safe trauma informed environment.

* Reviews residents' charts on a regular basis to ensure that charts are current and complete according to regulations and quality of care standards.

* Coordinates, and in some cases, provides professional development training throughout the year.

* Work closely with members of the administrative team regarding program development, policy and procedures, staffing patting patterns, daily routines, etc.

* Assesses and evaluates referrals for admissions to the program.

* Provides crisis intervention as needed.

* Consults regularly with the Director.

* Provides hours on rotating shifts as required and be on call.

* Performs other duties as required by Director.

Program Summary

Montgomery County Homeless Services within RHD offers a safe place to stay and assistance for individuals experiencing homelessness, helping them transition towards independent living. The program is a partnership between Your Way Home, Montgomery County's Office of Behavioral Health, and Resources for Human Development. Located in Montgomery County, PA, this program specifically caters to single adults without housing in the county. Clients have access to dedicated caseworkers who help them find permanent housing and apply for necessary benefits. Additionally, we provide practical support such as laundry facilities, transportation, meals, clothing, and essential life skills training.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work preferred, with 5 years related experience. Bachelor's in Social Work required.
• Minimum of one-year experience in a residential environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team required.
• Excellent writing and communication skills necessary.
• Driver's license required.
