FEMA CIIS Project Lead (Remote) U.S. Citizenship and Ability to Obtain DHS Clearance Job Overview We are seeking a highly experienced CIIS Project Lead to oversee FEMA's Continuous Improvement and Information Sharing (CIIS) initiatives. The Project Lead will be responsible for managing all contractor work related to CIIS, serving as the primary point of contact for the project team and stakeholders. This role requires expertise in systems design, stakeholder coordination, and project management within Microsoft PowerPlatform or similar environments. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for FEMA on all CIIS-related work. Oversee systems design, development, maintenance, and operations within Microsoft PowerPlatform, Power Apps, or similar model-driven applications. Lead a team of 5+ contract staff, ensuring effective project execution and high-quality deliverables. Manage multiple concurrent projects requiring coordination with diverse stakeholders. Conduct qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis to support CIIS initiatives. Develop and maintain project documentation, reports, and briefings for FEMA leadership. Facilitate stakeholder engagement, including discussions, working groups, and approvals. Ensure compliance with FEMA guidelines and federal reporting requirements. Maintain and update CIIS-related data in FEMA's designated systems and repositories. This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Additional duties may be required Qualifications Minimum 12 years of recent experience overseeing systems design, development, maintenance, and operations within Microsoft PowerPlatform, Power Apps, or similar model-driven application environments. Minimum 8 years of experience managing contract teams of 5+ staff and working with clients or stakeholders on complex projects. Minimum 8 years of experience coordinating projects requiring concurrence and collaboration with multiple stakeholders. Proven ability to manage multiple complex, time-critical activities simultaneously. Strong expertise in data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform decision-making. Bachelor's degree required. U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DHS clearance required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing reports for senior leadership. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while effectively leading a team.
