Job Overview:





Systems Administrator of Engineering Applications role is responsible for designing and maintaining of technical standards, information technology tools, processes, training, and providing subject matter expertise to product engineering and manufacturing functions. This role is responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of our PDM/PLM systems and ensuring the system is running efficiently. This role also collaborates business leaders and end users to provide support and enhance PDM/PLM tool capabilities.


Responsibilities



:




  • Collaborate with Engineering and Quality departments to implement PLM, PDM and QMS Systems per GMP software validation requirements.



  • Install and configure PLM, PDM and QMS related software which include but not limited to Windchill, Creo, SOLIDWORKS, PDM Pro, AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT, Minitab, Master Control and other software tools to support the engineering and manufacturing team(s).



  • Provide technical support by working with business team members to track, test, and resolve PLM, PDM and QMS related software issues.



  • Responsible for all Production and Non-Production Server application configuration changes including all PLM and PDM instances.



  • Manage PLM, PMS and QMS applications license usage and renewals.



  • Provide resolutions to the service desk Tickets for Configuration Management applications and support business requirements.



  • Troubleshoots and resolves system problems, incidents/requests, ensure SLA adherence



  • Works proactively to identify root cause and recommends/ implements preventative solutions.



  • Adheres to global IT standards, policies and procedures and coordinate related activities with global IT teams.



  • Work with vendor to troubleshoot issues and implement patches when necessary.






Requirements:






  • Minimum 5 years' experience in PTC Windchill administration, configuration, re-hosting and analyzing performance issues




  • Experience configuring Windchill - CAD integrations with Creo/Solidworks/AutoCAD and troubleshooting.




  • Experience within a manufacturing industry supporting and upgrading PDM, PLM, CAD systems.




  • Experience in using Microsoft tools including Teams, SharePoint, Project, Visio, and Excel.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills



  • Self-directed and proficient with time and project management




  • Demonstrated ability to follow projects through completion with attention to detail and accuracy






  • Windchill - Expert level experience with Hands-on usage of Windchill in a Life Science/Medical Device manufacturing business.



  • Solidworks/PDM Pro - Strong experience with Hands-on usage of Windchill in a Life Science/Medical Device manufacturing business.



  • Experience with Master Control and Minitab







Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

  • This position will be based remotely with minimal anticipated travel.
