Job Title: Cleaning Specialist

Location: Assembly

Shift: 2nd Shift

Summary of Objective:

Performs major clean duties which result in successfully performing validated cleaning processes and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned.

  • Perform major clean duties on machines equipment, tooling and PAPR.
  • Performs cleaning procedures with adherence to standard operation procedures and work instructions.
  • Ensures the machine is free of product debris from previous production run.
  • Completes and maintains cleaning log Reads, understands and communicates information contained in Batch Records and W.O. jackets.
  • Collaborate with quality systems to maintain cleaning logbooks using Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Record all tooling cleaned using Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Responsible for bloodborne pathogen and biohazard cleaning on production floors as required.
  • Manage clean room and production supplies inventory.
  • Appropriately wrapping tooling for storage to prevent contact with foreign particles.
  • Label all tooling using Good Documentation Practices (GMP)
  • This position may require overtime and/or weekend work. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP and GCP policies procedures and rules
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

Required:

  • Skills testing requirements met at approved grade level for position.
  • High school diploma and preferably 1-3 years related work
  • Basic Mathematical Skills
  • Minimum Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak in a way that allows one to participate effectively in various conversations. Ability to read various types of standard items addressed to general readers.
  • Intermediate Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions that may be furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems that involve several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Preferred:

  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow instructions and respond to management direction.
  • Ability to display a willingness to make decisions.
  • Ability to display excellent time management skills.

The hiring rate for this position is $20.38/hour plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including but not limited to specific and relevant experience, education, credentials, geography, and subject matter expertise.
