As a Facility Maintenance Tech, you will be responsible for executing a variety of facility repair and maintenance tasks, with a focus on painting and drywall repairs, while working independently, maintaining a positive attitude, and attention to details within the GMP biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Perform repairs such as patching and painting and fix various facility architectural finishes and site amenities.
  • Clean and maintain building fixtures and equipment (multimedia filtration systems, water softeners, pumps, etc), piping insulation, and windows.
  • Maintain records of repair via the electronic work order system and document maintenance activities while working with clients to ensure work is completed safely according to the requirements.
  • Work cooperatively with other construction professionals such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers when necessary.
  • Help assemble, move, and mend furniture and chairs. Install and replace floor components, stair treads, ceiling tiles, and new window seals.
  • Inspect and clean windows, roofs, walkways, pavement, and other exterior surfaces.
  • Assist with improvement projects, as needed, by preparing sites, conducting repairs, and keeping worksites safe and free of debris.
  • Ensure all facility maintenance work is conducted in compliance with regulatory and environmental regulations as appropriate.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year experience maintaining facilities AND/OR site services (Comfortable with tasks requiring lifting, climbing ladders, kneeling, and standing for extended periods)

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Vocational school
  • Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and understand their needs.
  • Ability to diagnose issues and find solutions to repair problems.
  • Efficient time management and the ability to prioritize tasks.
