Accounts Payable Representative - On-Site \| Jacksonville, FL Location: Jacksonville, FL (On-Site) Type: Full-Time \| Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM Industry: Logistics About the Role Vaco Staffing is hiring an Accounts Payable Representative for a large logistics firm in Jacksonville. This role works closely with the Manager of Client Billing and the Corporate Controller to ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions. Key Responsibilities Process and monitor vendor invoices and payments Perform 3-way matching audits and maintain accurate records Communicate with carriers via phone, email, and mail to resolve discrepancies Manage unbilled reports and follow up on missing data Reconcile accounts and maintain accounting ledgers Investigate and resolve carrier inquiries and account discrepancies Ensure timely invoice processing within 3 days of receipt Utilize document management and imaging software Prepare reports and meet critical deadlines Assist with administrative tasks as needed Qualifications 1+ year of experience in accounts payable (preferred) Proficiency in Excel, Internet applications, and vendor portals Business Central experience is a plus, but not required Strong 10-key and data entry skills Experience with multi-system operations 3-way matching audit experience preferred Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks, work efficiently under pressure, and meet deadlines Excellent communication and negotiation skills Key Competencies Accuracy and attention to detail Strong multitasking and organizational skills Professional, service-oriented mindset Ability to work independently and make decisions High stress tolerance and ability to manage conflicts effectively Work Environment On-site role Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM Apply Today!
