Accounts Payable Representative - On-Site \| Jacksonville, FL Location: Jacksonville, FL (On-Site) Type: Full-Time \| Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM Industry: Logistics About the Role Vaco Staffing is hiring an Accounts Payable Representative for a large logistics firm in Jacksonville. This role works closely with the Manager of Client Billing and the Corporate Controller to ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions. Key Responsibilities Process vendor invoices and payments accurately and efficiently Perform 3-way matching audits and maintain financial records Communicate with carriers via phone, email, and mail to resolve discrepancies Manage unbilled reports and follow up on missing data Reconcile accounts and maintain accounting ledgers Investigate and resolve carrier inquiries and account discrepancies Process carrier invoices within 3 days of receipt Maintain and organize files and documents using imaging software Ensure timely payments by verifying transaction details and obtaining approvals Assist with administrative tasks and cross-functional projects as needed Follow standardized procedures while working independently to drive efficiency Qualifications 1+ year of experience in accounts payable (preferred) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Internet applications, and vendor portals Business Central experience is a plus but not required 3-way matching audit experience preferred Strong 10-key and data entry skills High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities Ability to prioritize tasks, work efficiently under pressure, and meet deadlines Excellent communication and negotiation skills Key Competencies Accuracy and attention to detail Strong multitasking and organizational skills Professional, service-oriented mindset Ability to work independently and make decisions High stress tolerance and ability to manage conflicts effectively Work Environment On-site role Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM Apply Today!
