This is new position in the San Francisco office for a creative and technology-forward attorney with robust legal networks. The Program Attorney will be responsible for designing, creating, budgeting, and executing successful continuing legal education (CLE) programs to educate lawyers and related legal professionals. The Program Attorney reports to the Director, California Conference Center. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate all phases of program planning and execution for new programs, primarily in one-hour Studio and On Demand formats, live from the California Conference Center. Goal of 60-75 hours of content per year.
- Responsible for working with subject matter experts to identify program topics and recruiting volunteer faculty speakers, with an emphasis on priority content gaps across practice areas.
- Work closely and collaboratively with PLI Marketing, Membership, Multimedia, Publishing and CLE departments to ensure assigned programs are well attended and meet all requirements for accreditation and all internal deadlines are met.
- Create, continually monitor and meet budget goals.
- Research and maintain current knowledge of legal developments to ensure that existing and new programs address relevant topics that address the needs of practitioners in California and beyond.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Law degree and 8-10 years combined experience in law, management, program design and coordination.
- Working knowledge of California laws, either through legal practice (this could be an ideal position for a staff or professional development attorney at a law firm or company) or at a similarly situated continuing legal educational provider.
- D. from an A.B.A. accredited law school and admittance to a U.S. state bar is required
- Experience working with high-profile attorneys and executives
- Proactive approach to maintaining knowledge of current legal developments, using new technology, and adapting to business needs
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and organizational skills
- Excellent computer skills with knowledge of budgeting/financial planning and various software programs
- Must be detail oriented, even-tempered, and maintain a positive attitude
- Minimal travel may be required
- Full-time position with a flexible hybrid home and on-site office work schedule. We connect in the office 2 times a week, and as needed.

COMPENSATION RANGE FOR THIS POSITION $140,000 - $150,000 per annum (Exact compensation offer may vary based on the candidate's job-related skills and work experience.)
