Position Overview:

If you're a creative thinker with strong organizational skills, a knack for design, and hold a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field, this position is may be a great fit for you. Bring your expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud, Asana, and CMS to help us execute innovative marketing campaigns and support our various departments, including property management. With a hybrid work setup, applicants should be within commuting distance of our corporate office in the Sorrento Valley area of San Diego, CA.

Education:

  • Minimum requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field

Experience:

  • 2+ years in marketing, branding, graphics or a related field

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Proficiency with the following software:

    • Microsoft Office Suite

    • Adobe Creative Cloud Suite

    • Asana (or similar project management software)

    • Bynder or other Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems

    • Website Content Management Systems (CMS)

  • Experience with making design edits/designing in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite

  • Some knowledge of basic web development (preferred but not required)

  • Strong proofing skills and attention to detail

  • Highly organized and efficient, with the ability to manage a fast-paced workflow and meet deadlines

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset, capable of bringing innovative ideas to the table

  • Proactive and resourceful, able to balance independent problem-solving with asking for guidance when necessary

  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset, capable of engaging cross-functional teams effectively

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to ensure timely, high-quality delivery

Essential Duties:

  • Oversee project flow and timelines in Asana for the Branding & Creative team, ensuring smooth execution.

  • Manage print production schedules with third-party vendors, coordinating materials, delivery dates, and timelines.

  • Source and price promotional items; coordinate branding and printing of these items. Maintain inventory and collaborate with the Creative Director on reorders or new item requests.

  • Traffic requests from internal departments, ensuring timely project delivery.

  • Perform minor design tasks, such as photo resizing, copy edits, color adjustments, and image swaps. May also apply to small website changes as needed.

  • Maintain and update the internal DAM system with finalized assets.

  • Update and maintain project documents, tracking systems, and databases.

  • Coordinate updates and ordering of signage for national programs and marketing campaigns.

  • Assist in executing marketing campaigns by distributing collateral, tracking contest winners, coordinating prizes, and managing related expenses.

  • Manage workflows for various national programs, ensuring alignment with objectives and timelines.

  • Coordinate updates for two company newsletters (monthly and quarterly), ensuring timely and accurate content delivery.

  • Co-manage the department inbox, addressing inquiries from external vendors, regional managers, community managers, and internal departments.

  • Support property onboarding with marketing collateral, liaising with vendors and internal teams. Ensure timely delivery and communication with community managers.

  • Manage the print portal for onboarding properties, including setup, file updates, order approvals, and communication with property teams.

  • Coordinate digital signage setup with IT teams, tracking progress from order to onsite installation.

  • Serve as the primary contact for corporate and regional office marketing requests.

  • Assist in assembling and maintaining departmental tracking, organizational charts, and reporting as assigned.

  • Organize and prepare for internal team meetings and external vendor meetings, including booking rooms, ordering catering, and creating agendas.

  • Schedule and prepare for monthly team meetings, including taking notes and ensuring efficient time management.

  • Complete required training by company deadlines.

  • Adhere to all company standards, health and safety regulations, and applicable laws.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Estimated Rate of Pay:

$69,000.00 - $72,000.00

This position is exempt; the range above reflects annual salary.

The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location and job complexity*. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any). In addition to base salary, Fairfield offers all full time associates the following, upon meeting eligibility requirements:

* Pay range is a calculation based on a midpoint price. Fairfield complies with all wage and hour laws, including minimum wage and salary exempt requirements.
