POSITION: Associate Marketing Manager

The Associate Marketing Manager will play a key role in supporting CSB's small business and commercial banking marketing initiatives. This role involves collaborating across teams to design and implement comprehensive marketing plans focused on attracting, acquiring, engaging, and retaining bank customers. Leveraging a data-driven approach, the Associate Marketing Manager will utilize the bank's Lifecycle Marketing framework to drive growth and deliver measurable results. Responsibilities include setting campaign goals, monitoring performance, and optimizing strategies based on key performance indicators (KPIs). The ability to leverage market research, customer insights, and trend analysis will be vital to drive outcomes. Guided by CSB's core values, the Associate Marketing Manager will adopt a solution-oriented approach, build strong internal and external partnerships, and exemplify empathy, active listening, and understanding in all communications.

Key Result Areas:

  • Lead end-to-end campaign processes, including ideation, development, implementation, and post-launch analysis, to boost digital activation, utilization, and engagement.
  • 'Win' with target customer segments, deepen relationships with existing customers, and drive retention using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools for tracking and reporting.
  • Partner with Research & Segmentation Management, Digital Marketing, Consumer Product Management, and Small Business Deposit Product & Administration teams to identify opportunities for customer research and analysis.
  • Manage small business website content, ensure accuracy, SEO optimization, performance tracking, and adherence to brand guidelines. Align website initiatives with overall bank strategy.
  • Collaborate on diverse marketing projects across departments, ensuring consistent brand messaging and strategic alignment.
  • Support the bank's execution efforts to develop, optimize, and measure performance to enhance user experience, conversions from awareness to acquisition, and management of consumer content.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Five years of marketing experience; focus on financial services, digital banking, customer lifecycle management, and segmentation experience preferred.
  • Must have hands-on-experience, analyzing, capturing and reporting on campaign performance and activities; ability to illustrate and derive insights and marketing plan outcomes.
  • Understanding of media channels, media planning, and creative development process.
  • Excellent program and project management skills.
  • Understanding of Banking or Regulated industries, a plus.
  • Proficiency in marketing platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and CRM tools.
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and data visualization skills using tools like Tableau.
  • Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills to compose written correspondence, campaign copy, etc.
  • Exceptional organizational, initiative prioritization & time allocation management, and problem-solving skills.
