The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Lifecycle Management Specialist. The position will support our government customer located in Kekaha, Hawai'i.

Under the direction of the IT Assistant Manager, the Lifecycle Management Specialist will oversee the entire lifecycle of all PMRF's IT assets that encompasses system planning, acquisition, deployment, sustainment, cybersecurity compliance, maintenance, funding, modernization, end of life, end of support and final disposition & disposal.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gain and maintain an in-depth understanding of IT hardware, software and firmware assets in place to establish and/or enhance processes, policies and tools in support of lifecycle management activities.

  • Work with IT and Cyber Security teams to integrate data from multiple sources to ensure accurate data collection, analysis, tracking and reporting.

  • Partner with IT, Purchasing, Finance, Configuration Management and compliance teams to align reporting objectives with organizational goals.

  • Develop strategies and processes for tracking, analysis and reporting of lifecycle regarding IT assets that includes, but not limited to, replacing and/or updating hardware, software, license, warranty and firmware that incorporates and aligns with overall PMRF and Koa Lani's IT and Cybersecurity strategies and goals.

  • Monitor and report on IT asset lifecycles, including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, updates, upgrades, end-of-life/end-of-support and disposition.

  • Generate detailed reports for compliance and audit purposes, ensuring accurate documentation of IT assets and lifecycle processes.

  • Provide periodic status reports and regular feedback on routine/not-routine data calls.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

General office environment:

  • PMRF off-site travel to additional System locations.

  • Candidate must be capable of working in a team environment and participate in technical activities throughout the project life cycle and maintain a close technical involvement with all contributing organizations.

  • Effective oral/written communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: Over 25-50 lbs
  • Positions: walking or standing, crawling, kneeling, cramped, and work requiring repeated stooping, sitting, and/or frequent stair climbing.
  • Environmental: Customer Contact, Confined Work Area, Office Laboratory, Field Assignment, Inclement Weather

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • BS/BA in relevant field (5+ years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree)
  • DOD 8570.1M IAT Level I or greater

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, IT Lifecycle Management, or reporting and analytics roles.

  • Self-motivated and be able to work independently.

  • Must be proficient in report writing, gathering, and analyzing statistics, and using Microsoft Office programs, such as Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point

  • Possesses strong computer skills.

  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving capabilities.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Candidate must be capable of working in a team environment and participate in technical activities throughout the project life cycle and maintain a close technical involvement with all contributing organizations.

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Secret security clearance is required. (Applicants selected either must currently possess a Secret clearance or will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain clearance prior to commencement of employment and maintain a security clearance for access to classified information or Closed/Restricted Areas throughout duration of employment.)
