Division and Unit Overview The Office of the Treasurer & CFO is responsible for treasury and financial operations, business services, and member insurance. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: management of the Society's Investment Program; securing external financing for capital expansion and working capital requirements; risk management and the maintenance of the Society's business insurance program; foreign exchange management; budgeting and fiscal control for Washington Operations; management and operations of the ACS Washington facilities; centralized support services for all Washington staff; and directing the operations of a customer service unit responsible for consolidating service for Society programs, products and services. Governance groups supported by the Office of the Treasurer include the Special Board Committees on Audits, Pensions and Investments, the Society Committee on Budget and Finance; the Development Advisory Board; the New Ventures Advisory Board; and the Board of Trustees, Group Insurance Plans for ACS Members. Business Services provides a wide range of services to ACS customers and staff and is composed of Procurement, Contracts Administration, Business Services Support, and Building and Administrative Services. The Building and Administrative Services Department includes Facilities, Conferencing, Security Services as well as the Service Center. Building and Administrative Services has primary responsibility for and manages approximately $90,000,000 worth of the Society's real property assets including the Headquarters and Othmer Buildings and manages internal and external leases. Facilities provides centralized support services for all ACS staff and tenants. The Service Center provides high quality shipping, receiving and copy services to ACS staff. Procurement includes Purchasing, Travel, and Contracts Administration and provides high quality service in support of strategic sourcing. Business Services Support delivers superior service to internal and external customers on the full range of systems and functions within Treasurer & CFO Division. These offices have a wide-ranging impact and serve as a valued partner in the operations, strategy, and growth of the Society. Position Summary The incumbent performs formal contract reviews with a focus on procurement of services, strategic sourcing, and vendor relations. Primary functions within contract review include coordinating business review of contracts within established ACS guidelines and policies; ensuring agreements comply with established acceptable terms and conditions; supporting contract negotiations; and ensuring proper implementation of contracts. Strategic sourcing and vendor management functions will include facilitating the RFx process, proactively communicating with vendors, and holding vendors accountable for contractual obligations. Contributes to projects to develop enterprise level vendor management and procurement services to ensure processes competitive, and aligned with ACS goals and core values. This position reports to Assistant Director, Procurement. Position Accountabilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and collaboration skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite - including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience with one or more of the following is highly desired but not required: PeopleSoft, Basware, LaserFiche, DocuSign, and Contract and Vendor Management software. This is a hybrid position is based in Washington, DC. DC-based: This role is based in our Washington, D.C. office. A reasonable rate of compensation for this position is between $82,000 & $111,000 per year. Bachelors (preferred)
Experience
5 - 7 years: 5-7 years of related experience in areas such as purchasing, procurement, account management, or contract administration with demonstrated experience in analysis, vendor relations, and contract negotiation. (required)
