Position Summary:

Join our team as the Vallen Sales Operations Associate. In this role you will assists the Sales Manager and/or Customer Service Manager by administratively supporting and coordinating the day-to-day Vallen business operations and performing the following duties.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning:
    • Assist with developing administrative processes to support the sales team.
  2. Sales Process Optimization:
    • Assist with analyzing and refining the sales process to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Help to implement and manage sales tools and technologies to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
  3. Accounts Receivable and Dispute Management:
    • Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
    • Manage and resolve customer disputes related to sales transactions, working closely with the sales and finance teams to address issues promptly.
  4. Inventory Management:
    • Coordinate with the inventory management team to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of inventory levels.
    • Collaborate with sales and supply chain teams to forecast inventory needs based on sales trends and projections.
    • Assist with inventory reconciliation from PI and cycle counting
  5. Sales Analytics and Reporting:
    • Assist with developing and maintaining sales operations performance metrics and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Conduct regular analysis of sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, inventory, product, and accounts receivable teams to ensure alignment and support for sales and operations initiatives.
  7. Other Tasks
    • Performs other duties and assignments as directed by the Manager of Sales Operations.

Education and Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales or operations
  • Proven track record of success in sales, operations, process optimization, and sales performance analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated skills using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

  • Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand and may include little to no advanced notice.
  • Sitting, standing, walking, squatting/kneeling, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling, twisting/bending, lifting/carrying multiple times per shift, fingering, talking, hearing, and seeing.
  • May be required to lift and carry up to 75 lbs; must have the ability to handle physical inventory that requires hand dexterity.
  • May work in extreme hot or cold environments; various facilities may have dusty conditions.
