This position offers both remote and hybrid work locations. Candidates who reside within 50 miles of an office location (West Bend, Madison, Appleton) will be offered a hybrid work schedule. Candidates who are fully remote (beyond 50 miles) may occasionally be asked to travel to an office location for in-person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and corporate events.



Job Summary

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Product Analyst to join our Personal Lines Product team. This is a wonderful opportunity for an individual who has established them self as a self-starter & driven. Responsibilities & Qualifications

Works closely with all members of the Personal Lines team to provide support for the profit and growth strategies of the Personal Lines product(s). Assists the Product Managers in the development of recommended changes to rates, coverages, and underwriting position based on an analysis of key competitors, performance metrics, and the Personal Lines market. This role will also act as a key data resource for the Personal Lines team.

Job Summary

    Develops and supports cross-functional relationships to collaboratively implement product changes.
  • Develop and maintain reports and analyses to deliver key insights and monitoring of the effectiveness of the current product offerings and pricing.
  • Identifies and evaluates new and emerging data sources for potential use. Develops new reports and key performance metrics to monitor the effectiveness of the data post implementation.
  • Works with key business partners, including PL actuaries and other technical resources, to articulate data needs. Partners with the Data Product Owner to maintain accessibility to accurate and complete data.
  • Responsible for the outcome of project deliverables, including quality and timeliness, ensuring an adequate return on investment when prioritizing projects.
  • Interacts with third parties to effectively integrate the products and services that support Personal Lines.

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • 3+ years experience in a Personal Lines Product Analyst role
  • Advanced study or certification in a data-related field or data-related techniques or topics
  • Prior actuarial experience and/or completion of actuarial exams
  • Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform highly detailed and analytical work
  • Ability to work independently, and meet deadlines
  • Experienced querying skills using tools such as SAS, SQL, Power BI, and Business Objects
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Word

Preferred Education and Training

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance or related field
  • CPCU or Associate in Personal Insurance (API) designation

The salary range for this position is $84,114 - $110,400.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. Compensation decisions are made by West Bend and are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
