Description Our client needs technicians to assist their staff with Windows 11 upgrades for desktop devices. The primary responsibility involves providing technical support throughout the migration process, ensuring a smooth transition for approximately 450 machines. Assistance will be provided in building and rolling out these machines, utilizing software deployment tools like Meet Aiden to perform full builds of Windows 11, and tracking assets throughout the project. Additional duties will include assisting with the deployment of devices that are network-connected. The technicians will need to control asset management of the device, remove the old hardware and cabling, set up the new device, and turn it on to ensure it works correctly. Time will also be spent making sure the user can log in and can access the network. Candidate expectations: Configure user profiles, including replicating desktops to OneDrive and migrating users to appropriate groups Collaborate with the internal IT team and provide support for the remote offices Possess experience working in large environments and with law firm IT systems Recover used systems, clean\refresh them, rebuild them, and roll them out to a different user Remove the hard drives of assets at the end of their lifecycle so that the hard drives can be physically shredded by a 3rd party Update the asset management database 1-2 years of Hardware Deployment Experience Active working experience in a deployment project, where a technician had to take the old hardware/cabling out, un-box the new hardware, set it up, cable it correctly and turn it on to make sure it was working Technicians will be expected to work on-site at the Downtown Cleveland office Skills* Deployment, Windows 10, Hardware, Troubleshooting, Desktop, Support, Imaging, Windows, Active directory, asset management, ticketing system, ticket resolution, customer service, install, hardware troubleshooting Additional Skills & Qualifications Windows 11 experience is required as well as experience building machines with standard techniques like imaging over PXE boot or from a USB stick. Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
