Job Description:Responsible for providing direct patient care including therapy and psychological evaluation within the Family Medicine Residency Practice (FMRP). Assist with implementing the behavioral health curriculum for the residency program and medical student rotations (e.g. group medical visits, resident coaching and direct observation). This position will cross cover with the Supervising Psychologist. This position reports to the Supervising Psychologist. The Clinical Educator Psychologist is eligible for formal Faculty positions in the John Muir Health Family Medicine Residency Program. These appointments are based on level of experience in an academic environment and are fully at the discretion of the JMH FM Residency Director. These may include Volunteer Clinical Faculty appointments at UCSF Department of Family & Community Medicine. Education: Doctoral Degree - Psychology - Required Additional Experience Requirements: Experience in the Primary Care Behavioral Health model Experience or strong interest in medical education. Licensure/certifications: Licensed (or Licensed Eligible) as a Psychologist - California Board of Psychology - Required Skills: Knowledge and skills in health behavior change. Knowledge and skills in health psychology. Knowledge and skills in conducting psychological assessment. Proficiency in counseling skills. Knowledge and skills in graduate medical education. Basic knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Work Shift:Exempt Days (Mon-Fri) (United States of America) Pay Range: $51.28 - $76.92 Hourly Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure. Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area. Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
