Responsibilities

Sabre Systems is currently hiring for a Senior Cost Analyst at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE) in Lakehurst, NJ. NAWCADLKE is the premiere Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) and Aircraft Support Equipment (SE) research, development, test and evaluation, and sustainment installation supporting the US Navy. The primary job responsibilities of the Senior Cost Analyst include, but are not limited to:

Developing detailed cost estimates, managing budgets, and conducting financial analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities. Key responsibilities include performing variance analysis, preparing and presenting cost reports, and implementing cost control measures. The role involves gathering and maintaining accurate cost data, collaborating with various departments to support decision-making, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Additionally, utilizes cost analysis tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency in financial evaluations, contributing to the organization's overall financial health and strategic planning.


Qualifications

  • BS or Bachelors of Art (BA) degree in Business with a minor/concentration in Economics, Business with a minor/concentration in Accounting, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Data Science, or Applied Mathematics. 24 semester credit hours in quantitative analysis courses are required.
  • Requires a minimum of ten (10) years of cost estimating, cost analysis, scheduling, budgeting, and operations research or engineering experience. Two (2) years of experience in any leadership/management role required.
  • The selected candidate must be a U.S Citizen, and must hold a DoD secret clearance or above.
