School Psychologists in Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) serve a diverse student population in a variety of school settings (traditional, Montessori, language immersion, IB, charter, magnet).Typically, psychologists either serve on the centralized evaluation team or they have a school based assignment. MPS Psychologists also have opportunities to pursue other non-traditional roles or assignments, such as positions with the Violence Prevention program. Our 150 school psychologists offer direct services at the prevention, intervention, and supportive levels to both regular education and special education students. Numerous professional development and collaboration opportunities are provided. Competitive salary and benefits packages, including tuition reimbursement and paid conference fees, are also provided to MPS psychologists. Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule
The School Psychologist salary range starts at $68,102.85 and increases according to the set salary schedule based on years of work experience as a fully licensed School Psychologist. This position is scheduled for 10-months/200 work days during the school year. Equal Employment Opportunity
