Location: North Shore- Malden, Beverly Merrimack Valley- North. What You'll Do You'll be responsible to build and maintain the electrical power system, requiring several years of field experience. This advanced role involves constructing, maintaining, and repairing electrical distribution and transmission systems above and below ground. Duties include working at heights as well as climbing poles and lifting heavy equipment. Responsibilities encompass operating aerial and excavation equipment, troubleshooting system issues, setting transformers, and completing documentation and reports. * Must be experienced as a Lineworker 1/C or 2/C as demonstrated by proficiency, testing and past performance appraisals. Responding to emergency situations to meet customers' needs is part of every employee's role. In the event of a storm or emergency, all employees are subject to Storm Duty or Emergency restoration regardless of their position. More Information Please be advised that due to the nature of this position, incumbents are subject to federal Drug & Alcohol safety regulations governing US Department of Transportation ("DOT") covered positions, including the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Pipeline Hazardous Material Safety Administration (PHMSA). As such, the Company's testing programs and policies regarding the use of federally prohibited drugs or alcohol, for recreational or medical purposes, will remain in effect for these safety-sensitive, DOT covered positions. Many of the terms and conditions of employment for this position are defined by a collective bargaining agreement that the Company has with a local union.
